AMIS and our Consortium partners have just received word that we have obtained initial loan financing from the Common Fund for Commodities, Amsterdam, for the implementation of the Integrated Food Management System project. IFMS is a commercial project and will extend cross border markets and develop deep rural warehousing facilities to open up districts to new agriculture services.

AMIS and Nereus Green Group of Calgary have just completed a Business Plan and recommendations for the construction of a groundnut (peanut) processing factory to be located in Lilongwe, Malawi for NASFAM (National Association of Smallholder Farmers of Malawi). We are now going for funding.

Our hog operation continues to grow! The first pigs have been shipped for processing into meat products for sale through retail outlets. The business in now operating on a sustainable basis. Cumisec Investments (Private) Ltd., an African company of which AMIS is a major shareholder is expanding our full farrow to finish hog operation over the next 2 years.

Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) monitoring and management is a key component of AMIS project design and delivery. We work with Metrax software to track, monitor and report critical project metrics on a daily basis to ensure that GRC issues are rapidly identified and instantly addressed.
